As a California girl, Katie always feels a tug toward sand, sun, and water. Her training and travels in France introduced her to the French Riviera, which inspired many pieces in this spring collection. Katie envisions herself and (and all of our Passion Lilie friends) walking along the boardwalk in a flowy maxi dress, breezy pants, or ruffled wrap skirt with sandals on sandy feet and a tote bag filled with books, enjoying a salty breeze and the most beautiful vistas in the world.

Fresh Fruit Prints: A Nod to California’s Central Valley

The fruit prints in this collection are more than just cute; they’re personal. Katie grew up in Fresno, CA, in the Central Valley, where most of our country’s produce is grown. When you see the sweet pears, lemons, and strawberries in her designs, you can be sure she’s thinking of home. Crawfish & Community

After training in France, Katie made her home in New Orleans, LA, where she fell in love with the vibrancy, color, texture, and sounds of everyday life. New Orleans is where Passion Lilie was born, and its influence is woven into every collection. In this spring collection, another New Orleans staple enters the chat: crawfish season!

Here in New Orleans, we love crawfish. More than just a meal, crawfish boils are a social event with the unrivaled power of bringing people together. When the weather starts to warm up, you can smell crawfish boiling all over the city. You’ll see people gathered in yards, parks, breweries, and everywhere there’s enough space for a table. Katie captured the spirit of community and the magic of spring in New Orleans with her crawfish print dress, button down shirt, and even kitchen towels (which make the perfect host gift for your friend who’s throwing the boil).

We couldn’t create a spring collection without a little bit (ok, a lot) of florals!
