At just seven metric tons, our maximum CO2-e per year is significantly lower than the industry average. Transporting finished goods from India to the US and to our customers accounts for the majority of our carbon emissions.

Our production partners in India recently implemented digital meters to track electricity, solar energy, and water usage. By 2027, we will have data measuring the energy used to create each garment — an important step toward greater transparency and accountability.

Passion Lilie carefully selects Fair Trade partners who prioritize sustainability. Our garment manufacturers use 90% solar energy, and our block printers are carbon neutral, verified by Climes. We keep all of our manufacturing processes—raw materials, printing, and weaving—within close proximity to reduce carbon emissions.

Once our products are ready for shipping, they’re packaged in recyclable and reusable paper bags. Our mailers are made from 100% recycled content and all tags are attached with a small piece of twine.
