What’s new in our Organic Cotton Fall Clothing Collection
One of our biggest milestones this season is the launch of our very first fall collection for little girls! After so many requests from customers, we’re thrilled to introduce organic cotton dresses perfect for family photos, play dates, school days, and all your little one’s fall adventures.
Matching Styles for Moms & Little Girls
Our Little Meadow Twirl Dress is perfect for school, playground, and playdates on cooler days. Add tights and a cardigan as temperatures drop, and she can wear it well into spring. We made a Blue Meadow Dress for women, too – perfect for mom matches and family photos.
Inspired by Winter Solstice
Our solstice print is one of the designs that captured our whimsy for this collection, and you can find it in our Little Solstice Organic Twirl Dress for little girls, our Solstice Blue Organic Maxi Skirt, our Solstice Blue Organic Shift Dress, and black and navy organic cotton sweaters.
We find solstice imagery to be hopeful, ancient, and grounding. Celebrating light overcoming darkness in the winter is a lovely reminder of our connection to nature and the joy it brings. We hope you’ll feel a little celestial magic whenever you pull on this print.
Why We Love Organic Cotton for Fall
You already know we love organic cotton for summer weather because of its durability and breathable, sweat wicking properties. These same qualities make organic cotton a great option for winter clothes, too. Its breathable fibers help regulate body temperature, keeping you warm without overheating as you move through your winter day. Our organic cotton fall clothing is naturally soft against dry winter skin and easy to layer under sweaters, jackets, and scarves.
Since 2024, our fabrics have been made by 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Unlike synthetic fabrics, it’s made from a renewable natural fiber that biodegrades at the end of its life instead of shedding microplastics for decades. We believe it’s the gentlest fabric on our planet, the farmers who grow it, and the people who make and wear Passion Lilie clothing.
Passion Lilie’s Handwoven Ikat Clothing
Passion Lilie’s ikat garments like our black gingham pants, dress, and men’s shirt, are made from handwoven ikat fabric.
Since 2017, we've been working with a family-run business that employs weavers in several different villages outside of Hyderabad. In 2016, Mahesh, one of the founder's sons, helped the business enter the export market to work with brands like Passion Lilie. This work enables them to increase the villages they work in and the number of artisans they employ.
Each handwoven garment honors generations of talent and tradition while providing meaningful employment for our artisan partners.
Passion Lilie’s Hand Screen-Printed Organic Cotton Clothing
Passion Lilie’s screen-printed fabrics are made by hand in Tirupur. Hand screen printing takes significantly more time than mechanized printing methods, but we think it offers a much more meaningful and beautiful product. It helps skilled artisans preserve a centuries old technique while training the next generation of craftspeople.
We’ve been working with our partner there for more than a decade because of our shared passion for organic fabrics and fair labor practices. Their factory is powered entirely by solar energy, ensuring every Passion Lilie piece is made with minimal environmental impact. They are committed to being carbon negative, actively reducing emissions and offsetting more carbon than they produce.
Passion Lilie’s Hand Block Printed Fabrics
Passion Lilie’s block printed fabrics are handmade by skilled artisans in Bangalore. Our partner is a woman-led studio that uses sustainable materials and prioritizes fair wages, private medical insurance, and additional support for workers and their families.
Hand block printing is an extremely detailed process, beginning with hand carved blocks and skills passed down for centuries. Each garment is meticulously printed on our 100% organic cotton fabric using organic dyes. Because every impression is made by hand, no two garments are exactly alike. These subtle variations are part of what makes hand block printing such a beautiful art form.
