Ammu is Going Back to School

We are so proud of Ammu for going back to school! I personally meet Ammu during my visit to India and she is a very humble, energetic and sweet young woman. She does all the packaging at the workshop that does the stitching for Passion Lilie as well as some hand and machine sewing. Her favorite part of her job is when they send her out to the center of town to pick up notions. She has a great eye to find the best lining, buttons and trim to match any color.

Ammu is now going to school every morning from 8am to 10:30am before coming to work and she is currently studying Hindi, English and Kannada languages. Ammu left school at an early age due to health issues. She is now much better physically and at the top of her class!
