One of our goals for 2020, as a sustainable business, has been to reduce our carbon footprint. Some of our goals for 2020 have shifted and changed due to the pandemic, but we are so excited to announce that this goal of reducing our carbon footprint has not changed and is now becoming a reality. What are Carbon offsets?

Carbon offsets are an effective way to address climate change. A carbon offset is the reduction in emissions of carbon dioxide or greenhouse gases made to compensate for an emission made elsewhere. Carbon offsets fund projects like forest planting, conversion to renewable energy sources, or greenhouse gas collection and sequestration. They support both large-scale and community projects. A single company might restore a forest in Uganda and support the construction of efficient stoves in Honduran villages. Greenhouse gas emissions are a worldwide problem, and with carbon offsets, we can help strengthen the environment and make the world a better place to live in.
